Saturday SlobberLove

earthquakeSometimes on Saturday, after an earthquake rattles our precious homestead, we take it upon ourselves to swing into Full Emergency Alert by surveilling our parents to make sure they’re still in one piece, inspecting our toys to assure that all of them are operating at optimum capacity and sniffing every nook and cranny of the house, just in case the shaking monster is lurking just outside the door so we can make preparations for defeating the enigmatic beast.

Happy to see you’re all ok! Was Cooper getting ready to bake with Betty?

  2. So glad the shaking monster went away after just the 5.1.

Thanks for keeping the homestead safe, Cooper.

  3. Mary says:

You and I have the same book stand. I might even have the same Betty Crocker cookbook.

  4. Mary says:

    We are the same.

I am relieved to hear that the dog toys are still operating at optimum capacity. And how clever you are to check the toy throwers and greenie givers first.

The shaking monster shook me once and it made me feel all dizzy and weird and I wished I was with my doggie-boy to snatch him up in a hug and make us both feel better.

  6. Good ol’ Cooper: “I ain’t afraid of no earthquake!”

We had a golden retriever who acted quite oddly right before there was a small quake in the Cleveland area, where we were living at the time. He kept going and getting things out of the laundry basket and carried them around in an anxious manner. Like we could them as padding? I don’t know. Dogs are funny.
