Cinematic gloomy skies will persist throughout most evenings however the likelihood of couch naps and mid-afternoon hibernation will increase as the atmosphere shifts toward yummy muted grays and blues and snoozies. Sixty million percent chance of involuntary cuddle with the properly cozy blanket is certain most of Sunday and on into March 2013.

Lovely photo and thoughts, Cupcake. I love this time of year. I like the increasing dark, the quiet. Long evening of quiet music and reading. I like to enter this time of deep rest.
All I had to do was ditch Christmas and I started to love and treasure this beautiful time of year.
My old neighbor Robert taught me the beauty of secretly keeping your own singular Christmas going while everyone else around you went bonkers. It’s so true: Winter = quiet music + reading.
I need to up my anti-depressants. Detest winter.
That’s why you should come visit.
I love winter, to a point. It would appear that Alaska put that love to the test, and was found wanting. I cannot live there unless I WANT to cry all the time. But here is the Great North East when the cold wind blows I pull out my sweaters and boots and am a happy camper.
